About Me!

   Graduated from Univ of South Alabama in 2000 with a BS in Civil Engineering. Interned with Halliburton my Jr and Sr year of college. Moved to Atlanta for 1 yr for work then returned to Mobile, AL to go back to work for Halliburton KBR. Started traveling across the US with KBR and ended up at Ft Bragg Army base in Fayetteville, NC where I hired on with the US Army Corps of Engineers - Savannah District. Volunteered for a 3 mos tour in Iraq which ended up being 5 mos. (Oct 2003 to Fec 2004) Our Task Force team helped restore electricity and the electrical grid from Baghdad down to Basra in the south in a quick recovery effort, similiar to Emergency Hurricane response teams here in the U.S., except it's in the middle of a war zone!!! Awesome experience... wouldn't trade it for the world, but I am glad to be back (un-harmed) in the good ol' US of A!!! Currently working as a Project Engineer at Ft Bragg on a new $70 million barracks facility for our 18th Airborn! e Corps Soldiers!!
