About Me!I live in Germany- I have not been to America for five years. I love Europe and currently have no plans of returning. I work as the Publicity and Events Coordinator for Ramstein Officers' Club on Ramstein Air Base. (Ramstein sound familiar? All wounded soldiers fly here from Iraq on route to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center for medical attention) I love traveling every chance I get. I love reading I love exploring this rich in history and culture continent. I love walking down streets older than my home country. I would have to say Prague is my absolute favorite place in the world. The monuments and architecture are basically untouched by the hand of modernization since the Iron Curtain prevented the installation of modern conveniences such as sky scrapers and such. At night the lights bounce off gilded statues and monuments most countries would have been hurriedly whisked off to a museum by now in order to make room for a new subway, or some other form of modern monstrosity. And I am sure it's quite evident that I am not married. I have spent the last year and a half with a wonderful boyfriend-but I am not quite marriage material. Most men want wives who are happy to cook and clean and pop out 2.5 children whereas I would rather enjoy life selfishly and of course party. Fortunately-I have met a cool guy who thinks it's dandy I want to just play for now-hopefully he will always be so understanding. There is only one really really important thing high school taught me: Life only gets better as we get older (Thank God-I hated high school) and the silly things matter not even an inkling in the real world. |
